Is It Possible To Counteract Lean Muscle Loss During A Very Low Calorie Diet Through Exercise?
I guess it depends on how low is ‘low’, and what you consider exercise. If its really low calorie, you probably won’t be capable of much exercise, and if you are doing enough exercise, a low calorie diet won’t be necessary to lose weight. I’m assuming you’re not being starved for other reasons.
Example: with my workout program, I start losing weight when I drop under 3500 calories/day.
low calorie diet ? you need bare minimum of 12 calories per lb of bodyweight.. if you exercise make it 15 calories per lb … you do the math.. is that under what your getting now ? to lose weight modify what your eating and your eating habits.. say you need 2500 calories .. instead of eating 835 calories 3 times a day.. split that up into 6-8 smaller meals throughout the day .. eat at least 1 gram of protein per bodyweight . your muscles need that because of your weight training . research your good carbs vs. your bad carbs ..good luck
how low is this very low calorie diet? I don’t believe exercise will counteract it as you will require more calories to power your body. In fact it would probably be more damaging if you were restricting your calorie intake. I haven’t studied this question directly but from what I know about the metabolic process it wouldn’t benefit you much if at all.
yes, you need to be taking suppliment vidamins good ones find ionic vidamins if possable lol i forgot something it is very true you will need protines and amino acids or youd be hurting you very badly
Yes but eat a lot of protein and some fat and almost no carbohydrates.
