What Are The Best Weight Loss Exercises?

I do tons of aerobics but I have hit a plateau.
I used to do lots of bodybuilding, but that was to isolate one muscle and grow it.
What exercises should I do to lose weight? Just the basics like squats and deadlifts and stuff? Is there a good book that spells this out?

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at http://theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

If you have hit a plateau, you might want to consider cutting back a couple of hundred calories a day. Both bodybuilding and aerobics are good for fat burning. Bodybuilding builds muscle which burns fat and aerobics burn stored fat after moderate exercise for 30 minutes. A good book, I believe the best book out there, is Weight Training Made Easy, by Joyce Verdal, Phd. Don’t shy away from that book because it is written by a woman. She knows her stuff.

I just had my second baby and running helped me lose most of the post-pregnancy weight. I usually run a 3 mile stretch at least 3 times a week.
I used to spin (indoor biking) too and that kept the weight off. If you get a good instructor, it’s a lot of fun and is an intense workout!
    Good Luck!

Swimming is the best way to burn calories. So, try swimming at least once in a week.
Try walking, jogging, skipping, etc. Try to do lot more physical activity. Involve in a game like Badminton, Tennis, etc.

Pick what you enjoy so that you will continue to do them.
Have a good routine of mixed cardio and strength training. Anything that really works your core muscles is a good choice.
Basics are just as good as something new and celebrity-endorsed, haha. Just do what you like!

working out with weights will help. you need to intensify your workout. work harder, not longer. your body has gotten used to the routine so you need to change it.

Negative Calorie Foods

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
